Tirana police have arrested 43-year-old Alma Bime, director of Immigration at the Ministry of Interior.
According to the police, Bime is suspected of violating the "House Arrest" security measure, as well as attempting to set fire to her former partner's vehicle.
"Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 4 arrested citizen AB, 43 years old, on suspicion of violating the 'House Arrest' security measure and attempting to burn her ex-partner's vehicle," the police announced.
We recall that the director of the Ministry of Interior was also arrested in December, under suspicion of threatening a foreign citizen through text messages, as well as burning the household furnishings of her former partner, Mareglen Tomori.
According to sources, Tomori owns a three-story villa on "Hysen Xhura" street, in the Kinostudio area, where for some time he had employed a foreign citizen with a residence permit in Albania, who lived on the first floor of the apartment and took care of the garden.
Bime is suspected of initially conflicting with her former roommate, burning a bed in the villa, and then becoming involved in a conflict with the foreign citizen, whom she accused of collaborating with Tomor and threatened to revoke his residence permit.
The police complaint was filed by Mareglen Tomori, who also presented the foreign worker as a witness, in order to confirm the threatening messages that, according to him, were sent to him by Alma Bime.
