The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal of Argita and Jamarber Malltezi regarding the seizure of assets. The seizure was made after Jamarber Malltezi is being tried for corruption and money laundering related to the Partizani file.
The Malltezi couple had also requested the return of rental income administered by the Agency for the Administration of Sequestered Assets during the seizure period, but this request was also rejected by the court.
The Supreme Court's decision leaves in force the seizure measure on the assets in question, temporarily closing the couple's legal effort to free them and restore their financial benefits.
