Farmers and livestock farmers organized a protest today following the decision to remove oil from the list of support measures in the national scheme. Their representatives were received in the office by the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, and the Minister of Agriculture, Andis Salla, to discuss the demands and concerns of the farmers.
After the meeting, the farmers told the media that they had been promised that their demands would be met, but their reaction remained harsh and revolted. They stated that they felt ignored and did not accept the current situation, demanding the presence of authorities on the ground.
"Why isn't the war for the region? It's no longer worth it. Let them come down, come here... We don't accept it...", said the farmers, emphasizing the lack of concrete support from institutions.
