As Ilir Meta is expected to face the Special Court on April 27 in the first session of the foundation where the criminal charges against him will be examined, the High Court overturns an Appeals decision regarding the request for the replacement of the security measure.
The Criminal College has found violations and orders the Special Appeal to re-examine the former president's appeal regarding the security measure. Ilir Meta is accused of corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets. His ex-wife Monika Kryemadhi and three other people are also defendants.
