The toll of the tragedy in Roskovec worsens, the injured 55-year-old woman also dies in hospital
The toll from the serious incident that occurred on Friday morning in the village of Vidishte, Roskovec, has increased. Belere Plaka, 55, who was injured during the gunfire attack, has died in hospital as a result of her injuries.
According to preliminary information, 35-year-old Refit alias Nertil Buzi is suspected of killing his ex-partner's father, Arben Plaka, with a shotgun and seriously wounding her mother, Belere Plaka. He then held his ex-partner hostage for several hours, while numerous police forces surrounded the area and conducted negotiations to convince her to surrender.
After several hours of confrontation with the police, the suspected perpetrator of the incident ended his life, committing suicide with the shotgun he was carrying inside the vehicle where he was surrounded by officers.
The police and the investigative team continue their investigations to fully clarify the circumstances and motives that led to this serious event.
