New details have emerged from the murder of 66-year-old Rexhep Ismaili, an incident that occurred in a bar near a gas station.
According to preliminary information, a group of 5-6 young men went to the bar owned by Ismail at around 9:28 p.m. They are suspected of having had a previous conflict with a resident of the village of Gjashtë over property issues.
At the moment of their arrival, the person with whom they had a conflict was on the veranda of the bar, at a table together with Rexhep Ismail and three other people. The parties initially started a verbal argument, which later degenerated into a physical clash with hard objects.
It is suspected that the initial target of the conflict was not the 66-year-old. After the beatings, Ismaili entered the bar and came out with a Kalashnikov-type firearm, shooting several times at the group of young people.
In response, one of them used a pistol and shot Ismail in the head, causing his instant death at the scene.
