Meanwhile, two ships have passed through the Strait of Hormuz, becoming the first to traverse this maritime corridor after the announcement of a two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran.
According to the maritime traffic monitoring site MarineTraffic, the cargo ship NJ Earth, owned by a Greek shipowner, passed through the strait at 10:44 Italian time.
Earlier, at 08:59, the Liberian-flagged ship Daytona Beach had also passed by, shortly after leaving the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas.
