US President Donald Trump has stated in an interview in the United States that Iran will completely stop its uranium enrichment program and any efforts to develop nuclear weapons, despite the stalemate in talks between the parties.
In a statement to WABC, Trump expressed confidence in the outcome of the negotiations: "100% they will stop," he said, adding that he had communicated directly with Iranian officials during the discussion process.
"I'm dealing with them," he declared. "They said we're going to take what I call nuclear dust, because it's more convenient. And we're going to take it."
The US president also added that the process will not be rushed, emphasizing: "We will not rush anything, we have a blockade."
