A SPAK prosecutor appears in videos of Ergys Agas, the much-wanted leader of a criminal group operating within the National Information Society Agency (AKSHI).
Reliable sources for VNA confirm that the cameras that Agasi had installed in his office, in the heart of Tirana, show, among others, an anti-corruption prosecutor as a visitor.
The conversations between the special prosecutor and Agas are kept top secret, but the investigation team is already faced with a dilemma: whether or not to call him for questioning in the framework of the investigation into the AKSHI affair. And this seems to be a difficult procedure both professionally and due to the fact that this is a colleague who works very closely with the prosecutors who are investigating the file.
Earlier, photos taken from videos of Agas were leaked from the investigative file, where he is shown meeting with the former director of AKSHI, Mirlinda Karçanaj, whom SPAK suspects of being connected to the criminal group. But without a doubt, the involvement of a SPAK prosecutor is something that takes the file to another level of implication of senior statesmen and segments of the justice system in one of the strongest files of the last 30 years.
Sources confirm that there are other well-known characters in the video, including a member of the anti-corruption prosecution, which actually compromises the situation even more, but also raises questions about SPAK.
The AKSHI affair is among the cases that clearly show the capture of the state, how a criminal group decided on the institution's tenders worth millions of euros, which passed through the companies of Ermal Beqiri, also on the run. While the kidnapping or threat of rivals to withdraw from the tenders was ordered. This file so far includes important figures from the government, organized crime and justice. Which makes it a hot potato in the hands of prosecutors Altin Dumani and Bledar Maksuti, who now have the power to convince the public that when it comes to establishing justice, everything must start from the foundation, the body investigating this matter.
