Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha announced that the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs has approved the text of the Resolution on the European Commission's Progress Report on Albania for 2025.
The European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee approved the report on Albania, prepared by rapporteur Andreas Schieder, with 58 votes in favor, 7 against and 7 abstentions, paving the way for consideration of the Report in plenary session.
What no one is saying is that the Foreign Affairs Committee requested 350 amendments for a resolution of only two pages. Two pages that were quite critical, but which apparently needed to be corrected 350 times because they were not critical enough.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which only informed us of the 58 votes in favor, yesterday distributed a letter to all institutions.
For those who believe that the letter was dividing up the tasks for reflecting the recommendations, let us clarify that the work is not the new Minister's concern.
The letter is not a call to unite the workforce to reflect the recommendations.
A letter was sent to institutions, asking everyone (without exception) to lobby until the day the 2-page draft resolution with 350 amendments prepared by the Foreign Affairs Committee is voted on.
Now, no work is required from institutions.
They are simply lobbying for integration!
It's good that they're going crazy, but why all of them at the same time!
