A series of explosions have rocked the city of Dubai, causing buildings in the city's financial center to shake, while a huge cloud of smoke rose above the central area of the United Arab Emirates metropolis.
Sirens have been sounded along Sheikh Zayed Road, the city's main thoroughfare, as initial reports suggest a new attack by Iran, just a day after a drone was shot down near Dubai's financial district.
Tehran has previously threatened to hit economic and financial institutions, forcing some companies to evacuate their staff.
So far, Dubai's airport, one of the largest in the world, has been targeted several times, as has the city's port and luxury complexes, including the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah.
