The Israeli military struck more than 100 locations within 10 minutes in Lebanon, in the 'largest coordinated attack' since the start of the current offensive in the country.
The Israeli military claimed in a statement that the strikes targeted Hezbollah-linked facilities in several areas of Beirut, the Beqaa Valley and southern Lebanon.
The military claimed that the targets included command and control centers and other infrastructure used to carry out attacks on Israeli targets.
Hezbollah had no immediate comment on the Israeli claim.
The attacks came hours after the US and Iran announced a two-week ceasefire, which aims to pave the way for a final agreement to stop the war that Washington and Tel Aviv launched against Tehran on February 28, which has left thousands dead and wounded.
Pakistani mediators said the ceasefire includes Lebanon, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said it does not. Hezbollah has so far respected the ceasefire, although Israeli attacks continue.
Israel has carried out airstrikes and ground offensives in southern Lebanon since a Hezbollah border attack on March 2, despite a ceasefire that came into effect in November 2024.
Lebanese authorities have said at least 1,530 people have been killed and 4,812 others injured in Israeli attacks since then.
