While the ceasefire remains in effect, Iran does not yet consider the conflict over, an Iranian military spokesman said in a statement on state television, reported shortly after a recent post by Donald Trump on social media.
"The situation continues to be treated as wartime and the database on military targets and equipment has been updated," the spokesman said.
Referring to the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, he also clarified the division of control between Iranian military structures, namely the regular forces and the Revolutionary Guard.
According to him, the western part of the strait is administered by the Revolutionary Guard, while the eastern part is administered by the regular army of the Islamic Republic.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that the Iranian leadership is internally divided and that it is not clear who really exercises control over the country.
