The Saranda Prosecutor's Office suspects that the assassination attempt on Thimjo Rubati occurred because he is involved in the alienation and falsification of property. The 50-year-old has denied the property issue, but insists that the assassination attempt occurred after his son hit a police officer two days ago.
However, the police and the prosecution say that Rubati has problems and conflicts over property issues and is focused precisely on this issue.
Thimjo Rubati was shot with a gun while standing on the veranda of the bar. Police said that two people on a motorbike participated in the incident and fired 5 times at the target, with Rubati being hit by 3 bullets.
The injured person was transported to the Trauma Hospital for more specialized assistance.
