Several dozen convicts left prison and detention centers in the country today because they benefited from the ambitia. Among the beneficiaries is convict Rozeta Dobi. She was released this morning from the women's prison in Pojska, Pogradec.
Dobi was convicted of stealing a significant amount of money from the apartment of former senior official Alda Klosi, one of the people close to former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj. The stolen money was found in the suction pipe in the house of the cleaner, who was convicted together with her son. About 900 convicts, detainees and persons under investigation benefit from the amnesty.
