The protests by students and high school students against the government have entered their fourth day, spreading to several cities in the country. In Lezhë, Kamëz and Gramsh, young people have taken to the streets again, while some students have boycotted the teaching process to join the rallies.
In Lezha, students mainly from the "Hydajet Lezha" high school have interrupted classes and marched in the streets of the city. The protest has been accompanied by an increased presence of police forces, who have been deployed near the main institutions, while the situation continues to be monitored.
In Kamëz, high school students boycotted classes again this morning, leaving the school premises together and calling for revolution. The young people headed towards the center of Tirana to join the protest march. Numerous police forces have been deployed near them, but no clashes have been reported as of the time of reporting.
Meanwhile, the protest has spread to Gramsh, where a group of young people have organized an anti-government rally in support of students who have been protesting in the capital for days. They have joined the calls for change and a better future.
The protest movement, which began in Tirana, is also finding support in other cities in Albania. High school students and university students are using boycotts of classes and street marches as forms of protest, while among their main demands is the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The protests continue for the fourth consecutive day, while the participation of young people in several cities shows that the mobilization is not limited to the capital.
