Albania has released the official lineup for the penultimate match of the World Cup qualifiers, away to Andorra — a match that seems simple on paper, but which in reality could decide the fate of the Rossoneri.
Sylvinho has chosen an attacking and no-spares scheme: Broja on the right, Manaj in the center and Hoxha on the left, a trio that is expected to produce constant pressure. In midfield, the coach does not touch the balances: Asllani – Shehu – Laçi remain the axis of the team. The defense is positioned with Hysaj, Gjimshiti, Ajeti and Mitaj, while Strakosha defends the goal.
On paper, the calculations are clear — but not easy.
If Albania wins and Serbia loses to England, the Rossoneri take second place without waiting for the final week.
If England and Serbia draw, everything opens the way for a cold goal difference race, as Serbia hosts Latvia, while Albania faces England at “Air Albania”.
But if Serbia wins in England, then Albania definitely needs to win in the final match against the “Three Lions”.
An evening that starts off easy on paper... but can grip an entire nation until the last second.
