The Albanian Football Association (AFHV) has issued a statement to the media stating that it does not have any official information that can be made public regarding the situation of volleyball player Nayara Ferreira. This comes after media reports that Ferreira has been suspended and that Dinamo has been asked to perform a "gender test".
The announcement states that the FSHV is acting with caution and discretion, respecting the principles of fair play, equality in the game and human dignity. The Federation also announces that it remains committed to ensuring a fair and transparent process, in accordance with national and international volleyball regulations.
