
During the last few hours, 13 fires have been identified, of which 9 have been extinguished, 2 are active and 2 are under monitoring.
Currently, the active hot spots are in Pezë Helmës and Ibë in Tirana; in the Gërmenj Natural Park in Leskovik and in the village of Dërmish in the municipality of Finiq. In the latter, 5 firefighting vehicles with 20 personnel from the Finiq MZSH, 20 volunteer forces and two helicopters of the Armed Forces are operating on the ground, which are carrying out aerial operations to extinguish the flames.

Fire situation in the country
Firefighters, with the help of the Armed Forces, are continuing their interventions in several areas of the country to extinguish fires. In Finiq, Vlora, two AF helicopters are carrying out intensive operations from the air, supporting ground forces in extinguishing the flames.
During the last few hours, 13 fires have been identified, of which:
- 9 outbreaks have been extinguished, - 2 outbreaks are active, - 2 outbreaks are under monitoring.
Currently, the outbreaks remain active in:
* Pezë Helmës, Pezë unit, Tirana: The fire is being monitored until it is finally extinguished. Today, several small fires have appeared within the burned perimeter.* Ibë, Bërzhitë unit, Tirana: A fire has been activated in an area with bushes and marsh, near the area where a fire was extinguished the day before. The terrain is inaccessible to firefighting vehicles. 12 firefighting forces with individual equipment and 4 APR forces participated in the intervention.
* Gërmenj Natural Park, Leskovik unit: Firefighting efforts continue, with the engagement of 3 vehicles and 14 firefighters from the Kolonjë MZSH, as well as 6 police forces.
* Dërmish village, Finiq unit, Vlorë: Work continues to extinguish the fire in a bushy area. 5 firefighting vehicles with 20 personnel from the Finiq MZSH, 20 volunteer forces and two helicopters of the Armed Forces are operating on the ground, which are carrying out aerial operations to extinguish the flames. There is currently no danger to homes.
