The non-payment of salaries for several months and the reduction of staff have led to a protest by employees of the security company operating for Bankers Petroleum, “SHPSF Serjani”. They are demanding immediate intervention to resolve the situation, stressing that they are continuing to work without financial guarantees.
According to the employees, out of the approximately 380 employees the company previously had, only about 120 people are currently employed. They claim that they have not received their salaries for 7 months, while the economic situation for their families has become increasingly difficult.
The employees are demanding a response from company leaders and responsible institutions, emphasizing that work continues normally, but without pay and without security for future employment.
The situation of salary delays among subcontractors associated with Bankers Petroleum has been reported previously, with various workers stating that they have been left without salaries for several months, despite continuing to work.
Employees of "SHPSF Serjani" warn that they will continue the protests in parallel with work until the issue is finally resolved, demanding the payment of arrears of wages and guarantees for the continuity of employment.
