The Kakavija Border Police has announced that tomorrow, November 30, 2025, from 18:00 to 22:00 (Greek time), the Kakavija-Ioannina road axis will be blocked.
It is reported that the cause of the blockage was protests that Greek farmers have warned they will hold.
It is also learned that during this period only vehicles with health emergencies will be allowed to circulate.

The Kakavija Border Police, through the Kakavija Joint Information Exchange Center, has been notified by the Greek Border Police that on 30.11.2025, from 18:00 to 22:00 (Greek time), the Kakavija-Ioannina road axis will be blocked due to the protest that farmers will hold.
Only vehicles with health emergencies will be allowed to circulate.
The Kakavija Border Police asks for citizens' understanding and suggests planning vehicle trips at other times of the day.
