Even today, businesses continued to report problems with the functioning of the e-Albania portal, creating difficulties in daily procedures from downloading fiscalized invoices to receiving other services.
Businesses and accountants claim to be concerned that the situation has been accompanied by constant system outages and restores, causing confusion but also blocking their work.
"Even today you can't log in to e-Albania. And you can't log in to SelfCare either," a business executive tells Monitor.
In addition to the inability to receive services from e-Albania, their activity is also being blocked for downloading fiscalized invoices, where the connection with SelfCare is made through the portal.
The situation in e-Albania, where the system sometimes works and sometimes goes out of service, is being described by businesses similar to the Strait of Hormuz situation as "cloped", a mix between "closed" and "open".
"State systems are like the Strait of Hormuz: sometimes they open, sometimes they close," a business leader describes the situation to e-Albania.
So far, there has been no explanation from the National Agency for Economic and Social Development regarding the cause of the problem, while businesses say that the system's malfunction has almost blocked their daily work.
Even yesterday, businesses raised concerns about the malfunctioning of the e-Albania portal, which led to the suspension of several procedures, such as: non-display of data on municipal taxes and the system not performing the intersection with other databases, causing delays and difficulties in receiving services; it did not accept applications with electronic signature, displaying an error message and preventing the completion of procedures; fiscalized invoices were not downloaded
As AKSHI announced that the new, redesigned and modernized e-Albania platform is operational.
A few days ago, e-Albania announced that the portal will not be functional for 3 days, namely from the 15th to the morning of May 18th, due to improvements in infrastructure and access technology. /Monitor.al/
