According to the financial reporting documents of the Democratic Party of Albania for the May 10, 2025 elections, submitted to the Central Election Commission, it appears that this political force has made several payments to TV Klan and Top Channel for media services during the electoral campaign worth millions of lek.
The report records four invoices for "Media", all paid by bank transfer to TV Klan, as follows:
* On May 4, 2025, payment of 3,253,115 lek
* On May 5, 2025, payment of 2,920,380 lek
* On May 7, 2025, payment of 360,000 lek
* On May 8, 2025, payment of 5,492,313 lek
In all cases, the “outstanding amount” column contains 0, indicating that they have been fully completed.
The total amount paid to TV Klan is 12,025,808 lekë
Payments to Top Channel
In the same financial report, the Democratic Party also made five payments to Top Channel for services in the "Media" category:
* On April 28, 2025, payment of 2,477,220 lek
* On May 5, 2025, payment of 2,911,290 lek
* On May 7, 2025, payment of 1,565,090 lek
* On May 8, 2025, payment of 1,499,158 lek
* On May 8, 2025, an additional payment of 296,100 lek
These have also been reported as fully paid, with a total of 8,748,858 lek.
In conclusion, during the 2025 election campaign, the Democratic Party of Albania paid a total of:
TV Klan: 12,025,808 lek
Top Channel: 8,748,858 lek
So, a total of 20,774,666 lek were spent on media services for the two largest national television stations in the country.
