Dallëndyshe Bici, one of Edi Rama's most trusted men, has been dismissed from his post by order of the Prime Minister. Sources indicate that the dismissal order was signed before Rama traveled to Israel for an official visit.
Bici most recently served as the director of the National Inspectorate for Territorial Protection (IKMT). Previously, she headed the Cadastre, one of the most important institutions in the country.
Bici's departure comes a few weeks after SPAK cracked down on a criminal group within AKSHI and declared two businessmen Ergys Agasi and Ermal Beqiri wanted. According to sources, there are strong suspicions that Bici was promoted to important positions precisely because of Agas's influence, and it seems that this is also the reason for her dismissal from her position as director of IKMT.
