Prime Minister Edi Rama has once again commented on the decision to suspend former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, who has been sent for review to the Constitutional Court.
In the podcast "Flasim", Rama described what happened in the GJKKO as a dangerous precedent, where, according to him, a prosecutor and a judge joined forces to dismiss a minister and deputy prime minister.
He also referred to the Venice Commission and the European Court of Strasbourg, saying that these institutions consider the dismissal of a minister to be a violation of the balance of powers.
According to these justice bodies, ministers have political, not administrative, functions.
