Niko Peleshi will be the new Speaker of the Parliament. This was stated by Prime Minister Eid Rama in his speech at the Socialist Party Assembly.
Peleshi will thus replace Elisa Spiropali, who was elected to this position a year ago.
Rama also revealed the name of the new chairman of the SP parliamentary group, returning this position to Taulant Balla.
