DP MP Bujar Leskaj has reacted to his statement at the protest in support of the KLA, where he appeared drunk and stated that he did not ask about the party's orders.
In a statement to Euronews Albania, Leskaj avoided comments about his statement and "breaking the order", while stating that he is a friend of President Thaçi and a fan of President Rugova. He also announced that he is building a museum in Vlora called "Kosovo".
"Albania and Kosovo are above the party. I am a friend of President Thaçi and a fan of President Rugova. In fact, out of love for Kosovo, I am setting up the 'Kosovo' museum in an old building next to the flag building in Kosovo, where archives and souvenirs from the League of Prizren to the present day are located," Leskaj said in his reaction.
However, his presence at the protest, when the party chairman had given clear signals that the DP would not participate, and the statement that "they don't get beaten up for orders", seem to be justified by his drunken state.
