The SP and the DP may be separated by the opposition revolution, but when it comes to territorial reform, it seems that the relationship is "butter and honey." At least, this was the impression given by the meeting held today in Lezha with the participation of the special parliamentary commission on territorial reform, where at the head of the hall Arbjan Mazniku and Luciano Boçi were side by side talking to local leaders and citizens about the new territorial division.
The noise of the parliamentary sessions this time gave way to conversation and concrete problems of the municipalities, where even the DP MP Gjin Gjoni was careful during his speech to avoid any misunderstanding with the co-chairman Mazniku.
The meeting was also attended by the mayor of Lezha, Pjerin Ndreu, Arbër Melyshi, mayor of Mirdita from the DP, and Majlinda Cara, mayor of Kurbin, as well as other deputies from both political forces.
Peace on the horizon? Maybe there's no need for fireworks and Molotov cocktails, because when it comes to community issues, they find common ground.
