SPAK seizes assets worth millions of euros belonging to Ergys Agas and Ermal Beqiri, two suspects as leaders of a structured criminal group that operated within the AKSHI and won tenders worth millions of euros from this institution.
29 real estate properties have been discovered in Agas' name, such as luxury villas near Equos Resort, illegally legalized, apartments, and large areas of land. It is believed that the former head of ASHK Dallëndyshe Bici was also there to provide explanations to SPAK about these legalizations.
Meanwhile, VNA learns that SPAK has frozen seven bank accounts in Agas's name, and the company EA Solution has also been seized, in whose premises he filmed meetings with senior officials and police officers, while also appearing to predetermine the values of tenders with Mirlinda Karçanaj of AKSHI.
Ermal Beqiri has had 10 real estate properties seized, including luxury villas, the accounts of his company Soft and Solution, a luxury yacht, vehicles, and personal accounts.
Two apartments in Tirana and a duplex in a residential area in Qerret, suspected of being hidden assets of the former director of AKSHI, Mirlinda Karçanaj, whom Edi Rama stated was living in rent, have not escaped the seizure.
Sources say that funds in the accounts of the entities "FIRST" of Gëzim Hoxha, brother of Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha; those of "Fast tech" and "Fasttech and Fresh" of Andis Papas and "Albascan" of Elision Jorgjis have also been frozen.
The criminal group operating within AKSHI, according to SPAK, ordered the kidnapping of various businessmen and forced them under threat to give up tenders. While the criminal activity extended to ramifications between their businesses and favoritism in the millions gained from AKSHI tenders.
