Ergys Agasi owns a villa in the Government Villas area of Durrës, which is guarded by the Republic Guard. He frequented this villa even during the time he was wanted by SPAK, becoming one of the most wanted persons by the justice system.
Details emerge from the investigative file, which also reveals the role of Embro Sulejmani, the waiter who allegedly helped Agas while he was on the run.
According to SPAK, Sulejmani was not limited to occasional assistance, but had an active and organized role in Agas's movements, even controlling entrances and exits to the Government Villas area.
"From the content of the messages dated 24 - 26.08.2026, it results that Embro Sulejmani served Ergys Agasi for his movement by vehicle in the city of Durrës, during the time he was wanted, coordinating with him the location, schedule and method of movement, as well as controlling the entrances and exits in the area of Government Villas in Durrës, where Mr. Ergys Agasi owns a villa guarded by the Republic Guard," the file states.
These actions, according to SPAK, indicate an active, organized and continuous role of Sulejman in providing support and assistance to Agas, and not an isolated or random moment.
Investigators also refer to an intercepted conversation on August 26, 2026, at 9:26 p.m., just a few hours after Ergys Agas's arrest. In this communication, Sulejmani, according to SPAK, indirectly admits that he had transported Agas by vehicle while he was being sought, expressing relief that he had not been caught with him.
The file shows that Agasi and Sulejmani had direct communications and that the waiter was at his service to assist him during his movements.
An examination of the phone revealed that Sulejmani also had the key to a room where Agasi was staying.
"Agas asked him to open the door and give him the key, as he was leaving Laçi. From the communications, it seems that Agas was expecting someone else to go to the same place, as he expressed concern that he was 'captured'. Agas asks Sulejman to hurry up and uses the expression 'give me the gas', 'because there's traffic', 'open the door and go'", the file states.
Later, Agasi writes to Sulejman again and asks him to go get the key.
In another communication, the waiter addresses Agas with the question: "Capo, do you need anything?"
Embro Sulejmani has been released from prison and is currently under security measures of "ban on leaving the country" and "obligation to appear", due to family circumstances, as he has a pregnant wife and sick parents.
In the same case, for connections with Ergys Agas, the former head of SHISH, Vlora Hyseni, is under house arrest, while Fation Kalluçi, former head of the criminal laboratory, is in prison.
Along with Agas, at the time of the arrest, Ulian Shpataraku, a former senior police official, was also captured.
The SPAK file thus highlights Agas' movements during the time he was wanted by justice, the help he allegedly received from Sulejmani, and the fact that he frequented a villa in the Government Villas area of Durrës, guarded by the Republican Guard.
