Six lives lost, a question for OSHEE
In some of these accidents, suspicions have been raised about the lack of electricity, problems in coordinating work, or compliance with safety measures.
The six victims constitute the minimum balance of cases identified in public reports, not a final official statistic of fatal accidents in OSHEE.
How many inspections has the Labor Inspectorate conducted? How many violations have been found? What measures has OSHEE taken after previous accidents and how many of them have resulted in concrete responsibilities?
While the investigation into the death of the electrician in Selenica has just begun, the question of what has been done to prevent the recurrence of tragedies in the electrical network still remains without a full public answer.
