The new year finds the Democratic Party and its leader, Sali Berisha, with a different mindset towards the Special Prosecution Office. This is evident in the announcement from the blue headquarters where it says that Berisha will be at SPAK on Monday in implementation of the security measure. What is striking is the fact that for the first time the Democratic Party no longer calls the Special Prosecution Office "SKAP" as we are used to hearing from the leader of the DP himself.

It remains to be seen whether this is a real change of course by Berisha with his statements and stances towards SPAK, or whether it is a mistake by the DP press office.
