DP MP, Jorida Tabaku, has repeated her call for reflection within the ranks of the Democrats after the local by-elections, although in practice no concrete movement has been observed in the political force to which she belongs.
In an interview with A2 CNN, Tabaku said that the low voter turnout was a clear signal that citizens have lost trust in politics.
"I watched the turnout in the elections with sadness. This was a message for politics that it should do things differently. It has happened that the government won the by-elections, but this time in Vlora a mayor was elected with only 6% of the votes. It cannot be called a process. People do not have trust. I am not saying that only the other side is to blame, we must definitely look at ourselves as well," declared Tabaku.
However, the calls of the Democratic MP seem to remain only for media headlines, as within the DP this problem is not treated seriously. Perhaps, before articulating them in the television studio, it would be more fruitful for Tabaku to raise these concerns directly with the party leaders. And in the next elections, do not hide behind unknown ( unknown) dependent candidates , leaving the filkats to campaign.
