The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has changed the rhythm and manner of public communication just a few hours after SPAK summoned him on the issue of “January 21”. In an online conversation with citizens, Berisha announced the launch of a new political movement, announcing the “Speech” and a tour of grassroots meetings with the Democrats.
Berisha declared that the analysis of the political situation will begin immediately and that he himself will travel to all four corners of the country to meet with supporters. The aim, according to him, is to organize a direct confrontation with what he calls the “regime.”
"The analysis will begin immediately and my grassroots tour will begin immediately. I expect to start meetings in all four corners of the country with citizens and democrats in the hope that Albanians, with their courage and energy, will face this regime tooth for tooth," Berisha said.
His warning comes at a tense political moment, where SPAK's call for the January 21 file has revived the debate about the responsibilities of the event and his role as prime minister at the time.
