The fire that destroyed a building in Tirana still has no official conclusion from the investigation. But that didn't stop Prime Minister Edi Rama from giving his version of the cause.
According to him, it was a "spark" and a disaster that "had nothing to do with construction." A clear conclusion, given before the investigation bodies had determined the full responsibilities and causes of the fire.
At the same time, Rama also attacked those he called "omniologists" and "unlicensed public experts," who, according to him, appear in the media whenever a serious event occurs.
Meanwhile, he announced that the burned building will be 100% rebuilt by the builder and that residents will benefit from a rental bonus until they return to their homes.
So, while the investigation is not yet complete, one thing seems to have already been clarified: for the prime minister, the construction is innocent. The conclusion of the investigation remains just a formality.
