Regarding the investigations into the incinerators, the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, stated that special prosecutors have assessed that the cooperation between the persons involved was simple and did not develop within the framework of a structured criminal group.
Regarding corruption in the judiciary, Dumani emphasized that SPAK has prosecuted prosecutors, judges and judicial police officers, but only in cases where there was concrete evidence.
"We cannot penalize everyone. We prosecute only on the basis of evidence, case by case," he said.
Regarding money laundering, the head of SPAK acknowledged that it remains a serious concern, but emphasized that the value of seizures has increased significantly and investigations in this regard have been intensified.
"We have built new investigations into money laundering and the number of proceedings has increased. Of course, there is room for improvement," Dumani declared.
