The leader of the Democratic Party, Berisha, has appeared before SPAK, as part of the security measure "compulsory appearance" for the "Partizani" file. After signing the obligation, Berisha gave a statement to the media, where there was no shortage of accusations against the judiciary.
Berisha announced that he had left a message at the SPAK premises, which, according to him, was directed at Altin Dumani, even though the latter is no longer the head of this institution. In his speech, Berisha began with congratulations for the New Year 2026, and then continued with strong critical tones.
"First of all, I wish all those who follow us a Happy New Year 2026, a year with the best for them and their loved ones. Here at SKAP I left this note: To Altin Troplini, the Paja of SKAP, the enemy of political pluralism and McGonigail's lawyer, with a guarantee that his crimes will not remain without the deserved legal punishment. Asked about the election of Klodian Braho as the new leader of SPAK and the position of the Democratic Party, Berisha stressed that the opposition will evaluate every leader or employee of justice institutions based on respect for the law.
"My attitude towards every employee of the special prosecution, the court, the police and the National Bureau of Investigation will depend only on their attitude towards the law. We do not ask for anything more than that," Berisha said.
He added that the Democratic Party will support any SPAK leader or employee who acts in accordance with the law, emphasizing that the opposition's position is not personal, but principled.
Berisha's appearance at SPAK and his statements come at a time when relations between the opposition and justice institutions remain tense, while the "Partizani" file continues to be at the center of political and media attention.
