US President Donald Trump has published official data on the social network Truth Social on the receipt of social assistance by immigrant families in the United States, stating that 41.3% of Albanian families living in the US receive social assistance from the American state.
According to the list distributed by Trump, the data includes immigrant families from different countries and the level of social assistance benefit for each country of origin. In this ranking, Albania results with a percentage above the threshold of 40%, while Kosovo is marked with an even higher level, around 46% of beneficiary families.

The tables are part of a ranking titled “Immigrant Welfare Recipient Rates by Country of Origin,” which presents the percentage of immigrant families receiving welfare, broken down by country of origin. According to these data, Albania ranks near countries like Moldova, Ukraine, and Vietnam, with a lower percentage than some other countries, but still significant.
