The protest is organized by OVL-UCK (Organization of KLA War Veterans), not by Edi Rama.
OVL organized in Pristina, in The Hague, today it was Tirana's turn, then Skopje. It is on the protest calendar, what does Edi Rama have to do with it? But who organized it there in The Hague? The Soros Foundation of the Netherlands?
Why do they present it as Edi Rama's protest? Or do they need to present it as Edi Rama's to justify why they didn't go? There is nothing that justifies them, but it's their job anyway. Or will these people argue about protagonism, Rama doesn't vote for the resolution to not give protagonism to this one, this one slanders the protest saying it's Rama's who didn't vote for the resolution, to create an excuse for not participating.
I was there and I saw and met people who are not at all with Edi Rama, have never been with him. I also saw people who are with Edi Rama. But what does it matter? When you are at an event like this, there are people of all colors.
Were there SP politicians in the front row? Who stopped the DP politicians from being in the front row? It was, for example, Bujar Leskaj, no one stopped him. It was Sami Lushtaku of the PDK, but there was also Përparim Rama of the LDK, Daut Haradinaj of the AAK. No one stopped anyone, despite party divisions.
You go to the front row, it turns out that it's your protest too. Or don't you want it to be yours? Tell him, sir, bluntly, I don't want to go to that protest because I don't want them to be released from prison. Tell him I'm not going, I don't like it, I'm not with them, I have other interests, other threads. This is more honest.
Sali Berisha, in his Facebook status, called those who, according to him, are using the KLA protest Albanian-speaking Albanophobes. And the rest of us, consequently, are being used by these Albanian-speaking Albanophobes. No problem, that is, without insulting people.
These democrats of today, and I as a former democrat, went to Ilir Meta's protest; Ilir spoke to us about the constitution, about honesty, against theft, abuse, fraud, etc. And we listened to him there. Now this big blue moralist, and the little moralists behind him, I was worried about the hypocrisy, are saying that those at the protest are not serious when they talk about patriotism. Only this one is serious when he talks about patriotism. Whoever does not have this patriotism, is not called a patriot.
After all, it is no surprise because he is the same one who called Rambouillet the "Castle of Treason". Rugova, Thaçi, Bakalli, Surroi, Qosja were there, all the parties and intellectuals of Kosovo were there, and they were committing treason, while only this one was a patriot; all the representatives of Kosovo from all sides were traitors, only this one was a patriot. Rugova set the limit and did not allow him to cross into Kosovo until 2006 when Rugova died.
Everyone has the right to dislike someone, to dislike something. They have the right to stand up for themselves. Even Sali Berisha and those who follow him have the right to dislike the leaders of the KLA. They also have the right to go crazy with anger because Thaçi, Krasniqi, Selimi and Veseli have more glory than them, because they will remain in history as people who stood up when they were 20 years old and fought. And in the name of this anger they want them in prison and possibly humiliated and destroyed. Because Albanians do not forgive either glory or splendor, no matter how little you have.
We have no reason to adopt their anger, nor their interests, because we have no rivalry with them. We want them not to be punished in vain. That's all. He and they, let's say it bluntly, we don't love them, they blind us, and let's not hide behind words-masks, no morality, no hypocrisy, no scoundrels, no Albanophobes. Say it bluntly like men, we don't love them, we are not with them, because it is known that they hate them and want them in prison.
For morals and hypocrisy then, these people have proven that they are willing to support even guys like Fredi Beleri with the flag of Northern Epirus, they have no problem with that. Just don't tear us apart by creating unnecessary conflicts. Just declare that I don't want to go, whoever is with me should not go, and that's it. There is no need for any excuse or twist, because there is no excuse that washes it away.
