For me, Florian Binaj is a good and respected guy, an activist who is trying to do something for this country. But he is not a politician and has no chance of producing either a model or a political current. That is precisely why Berisha chose him, because he has no chance of creating any reaction that could eclipse him in the slightest.
Ermal Hasimja, on the contrary, is a man who knows politics well, has principles, has integrity and has the potential to produce gravitation. Ermal comes to politics, not simply for a race, but to create a path that he will share with many others like him.
That's exactly why Berisha doesn't like it, because he doesn't accept that someone else walks his path outside of his control. Any path that has even the slightest bit of a future worries him on his path with no end and no return.
Of course, in the conditions of the opposition, neither Binaj nor Hasimja will be able to win. But Hasimja had the opportunity to offer a different political vision and a new current in the opposition desert. He was entering the race to give life to a project that would continue after her. This is precisely what penalized him.
Berisha has reached a point where he can no longer do much good. Threatened by every shred of independence, immersed in his own political perversion, he is forced to destroy every opportunity given to the opposition to free itself from the rubble it finds itself in.
Berisha now remains a regressive factor that not only cannot rise to defeat Edi Rama, but also hinders and destroys everything else that shows even the slightest potential to rival him.
