With Bexhet Pacolli's latest accusation that the Albanian state wants to take away the Vlora airport to give it to the Israeli Rony Yeffet, the ugly picture of handing over strategic sectors of our country to a man connected by dubious threads to Israeli lobbies and intelligence services is completed.
Yeffet, based on the published intercepts, but also on official documents, appears to be the key person who controls not only the defense sector, armaments, military vehicles, arms smuggling and drones, but also has influence on military procurement, IT and data center technology through the company "1820 Albania", in fuels and hydrocarbons through the company "1820 Black Oil", in security technology through the companies "R&I Trading" and "SMX".
If Rony Yeffet were simply a businessman, the issue would simply focus on the concern of why a businessman receives so many favors from our state. But when you learn that Yeffet's father, Isaac Yeffet, is not just a vine grower as we are told, but a former director of the Israeli global airline security company "El Al", former deputy director of security operations at the Israeli Foreign Ministry and previously served in the Mossad, then the issue becomes a little more complicated.
When you learn that Rony himself served for 3 years in the infamous Israeli defense forces, and moreover when he was the person who introduced the Israeli Elbit Systems into relations with NATO and with Kayo-Albanian, this is where the story becomes disturbing.
Why has a person closely linked to Israeli defense, security and intelligence structures seized Albanian strategic sectors? Why is the Albanian government building this vassal relationship? Why is not only the economy, industry, tourism, health, transport, hydrocarbons, but also historical memory with museums without Jewish criteria being taken hostage?
When Albanians mandate a prime minister, as in any democratic country, they mandate him to administer our assets in the interest of public welfare, they do not mandate him to hand over the country's sovereignty to another country. It is precisely here that the Albanian prime minister and government have lost the legitimacy of representation.
