An unexploded hand grenade was found this afternoon on the terrace of a building used as a funeral home in the village of Kameras, near the Fushë-Krujë – Krujë axis. The discovery was made by the owner of the building, Arber Sala, who, while placing some advertising letters on the roof, noticed the suspicious object and immediately notified the police.
Law enforcement arrived at the scene, who requested the assistance of RENEA engineers to dismantle and neutralize the grenade. Local sources indicate that Arber Sala has no problems with the law and has been dealing with funeral services for years. Not long ago, he was the victim of an arson attack where an old warehouse was burned down, while the building where the grenade was found was recently built.
Police have launched investigations to uncover the causes and circumstances of the grenade's placement and are examining the possibility of a deliberate act.
