
The Fier Prosecutor's Office has sent the file against M.Ç., accused of having sexual relations with a woman with mental health problems, for trial.
The investigation was initiated after a complaint by the injured party, citizen K.Ç., who after a medical examination learned that she was two months pregnant. The forensic psychiatric examination confirmed that the victim had intellectual development similar to a 6-year-old child.
Genetic tests (DNA) performed on the aborted fetus and the suspect's samples showed a biological father-daughter relationship, reinforcing suspicions against M.Ç.. After this evidence, the injured party confirmed that the sexual intercourse had taken place against her will, in her apartment, and that the suspect had taken advantage of her economic, mental and family situation.
Based on this evidence, M.Ç. was immediately arrested, while the file was referred to the court for further action.
