This is the panorama that emerges from the SPAK file on the failed assassination attempt on Aleksandër Prendi in Rranxë i Vau i Dejës, an episode that, according to investigators, is directly related to the conflict between the Bajra group and their historical opponents.

Izmir Sakicaj, Samuel Troshani, Franko Leka, are accused of "providing conditions to commit murder" to the detriment of citizen Aleksandër Prendi and a criminal group. The defendant is also Aleksandër Prendi, for providing conditions to commit murder, criminal group and illegal possession of weapons. Prendi is considered their opponent and the clash is related to conflicts over narcotics.

Referring to data provided by the TikTok network, the defendants were found in the company of each other and citizen Safet Bajri and other persons. The same video was obtained from the seizure of a phone seized on December 12, 2024, belonging to the brother of the defendant Samuel Troshani. This environment, according to the investigations conducted, is also frequented by Safet Bajri and his close social connections.
Numerous photos and videos of weapons were found on Izmir Sakicaj's phone. Sakicaj appears on several occasions accompanied by other people while shooting with a gun. "In the video dated July 28, 2024, which was recorded in a bar-like environment in Dobraç and frequented by Sakicaj, Troshani and Safet Bajri, etc., several people appear and it is interesting to note that several long guns are hanging on the wall.
The video, dated November 21, 2024, shows two citizens, one of whom is Samuel Troshani, and an unidentified girl. The two people are shown shooting with firearms. Significant amounts of money of illegal origin have also been found.
Failed assassination attempt in Rranxë
Being part of a criminal group involved in criminal activity that consists mainly of committing violent acts against the health or life of persons, using firearms, the defendants, on August 23, 2024, at around 17:00, set off together with other persons, in three armored vehicles, from the Dobraç area, towards the village of Rranxë, Vau i Dejës municipality. The defendant Aleksandër Prendi lives in this area. The defendants were armed and went to the area with the intention of killing Prendi. The motive is believed to be related to disputes over narcotics.
During the time they spent in this area, they were shot by Prendi, who is proven to have been armed and understood the reason why the defendants were there. There was an exchange of fire between them, where there is no information about any injured persons.
The place where the incident took place, the village of Rranxë, is known as the area of the defendant Aleksandër Prendi and his family members and is located 20 km from Dobraçi, which is known as the area of the defendants Izmir Sakicaj, Samuel Troshani and Franko Leka.
As a result of the gunfire, an Audi A8 armored car, with German license plates, was damaged, which was used by Izmir Sakicaj, referring to the fines received for this vehicle.
An Audi A9 vehicle owned by Franko Leka was also damaged in the shooting. It turns out that there was also an armored vehicle, a Mercedes Benz S600, at the scene, which fled the scene along with the two Audi vehicles. On September 3, 2024, this vehicle was stopped by the police while it was being driven by Safet Bajri.
