The Special Court of Appeal announces the verdict for the defendants in the Tirana incinerator case and returns Lefter Koka, former Minister of the Environment, to prison. Koka has 6 months left in prison to serve.
Jetmir Llapaj pleaded guilty to abuse of office in collaboration with 8 months of imprisonment and deprivation of the right to hold public office for 5 years.
The decision of the Criminal Court of Kosovo (CJKKKO) was upheld for the defendants Erjon Murataj, Namik Simixhiu, Bledar Karoli, Taulant Tusha, Valbona Ballgjini and Sidita Kopliku.

- Upholding decision no. 30, dated 16.04.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, for the defendant LK for points “1”, “2”, and “4” of the enacting clause of the decision.
- Amendment of decision no. 30, dated 16.04.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, for the defendant LK, by removing point "3" of the enacting clause of this decision which provided for "On the termination of the security measure "prison arrest"", imposed on the defendant LK by decision no. 134, dated 07.12.2023 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime.
