Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to the show Të Paekspozuarit on MCN TV, spoke about the massacre that occurred this morning in Shkodër, where two people were killed and two others were injured.
Lala said that the suspected perpetrator of the crime, Ragip Gila, entered the cafe where the target and other people were staying with an automatic rifle and opened fire, killing Armando Palin and Liridon Krajë. The target of the assassination, Erogen Brajovic, was injured and remains in hospital, while the bar's waitress was also injured.
"The incident occurred at 8:50 in the morning. Erogen Brajovic lives above the bar where the massacre took place. He was sitting in the bar where he met a member of his family, Liridon Kraja, who is married to his cousin, and Armando Palin, a former colleague in the Shkodra Municipal Council. When they were sitting in the bar, near the bar, a motorcycle approached and then the person in a spacesuit and an automatic rifle approached their table and fired a volley.
They tried to escape and entered the premises, but the perpetrator followed them, killing Armando Palin. Liridon Kraja was seriously injured, but later died. Brajovic and the bar's waitress, Meri Kaceri, were also injured.
The suspected perpetrator, Ragip Gila, came out of the back of the bar and, at gunpoint, forced the driver out and hijacked the car.
"The police suspect that the victims are innocent. Armando Pali has no criminal record, he was a state official. Likewise, Liridon Kraja, despite being a son-in-law in the Brajovic family, had no record. Neither did the waitress," Lala declared.
