The investigations into the AKSHI scandal by SPAK have entered an intensive phase. In addition to the questioning of former AKSHI director Mirlinda Karçanaj, who is suspected of being part of the criminal group led by Ergys Agasi and Ermal Beqiri, who was questioned by SPAK agents, other people who have knowledge of how tenders were abused have also crossed the threshold of this institution.
One of the people who gave testimony is the wife of a German citizen, who, although he did not file a criminal report with the Albanian authorities, was a victim of pressure from the criminal group.
In fact, the reason for the question is related to a banking transaction he had with Agas, who is internationally wanted. The woman in question has given a lengthy testimony, which is being kept completely secret.
SPAK says that Agasi and Beqiri ordered the kidnapping of businessmen and forced them to withdraw from tenders.
