Before the police published the announcement about the loss of contact with the former deputy director of AKSHI, journalists had received various reports about his disappearance. The first to raise the alarm was Shima's girlfriend, who is also his lawyer in the case being investigated by SPAK. A message "I am being arrested" had arrived on her phone and then all contact with Daniel Shima had disappeared as if by magic, while his mother, on the other hand, ran to the police to get information about her son.
When Daniel himself appeared after 10 hours, sources within the police, but not himself, spread the news that the "disappearance" was related to a personal conflict between him and his girlfriend. It's as if this is about a teenager who suddenly discovered that he could turn love dramas into "giallo" to attract public attention. Whatever the truth, Daniel Shima did not need this much attention for his several-hour disappearance. His entrances and exits at SPAK are accurately recorded, while only the first time he opened the door of the Special Prosecutor's Office was enough to prevent him from entering the door of AKSHI again. The institution rumored for dozens of tenders and millions wasted on cyber defense and the construction of electronic systems that, at best, have never functioned properly.
Beyond that, Daniel Shima is aware of many transactions made by AKSHI and many sensitive data for cybersecurity. A man with such capacities and important duties, who has had the country's security in his hands, cannot be the victim of a jealousy drama with his girlfriend. Only if the latter is involved in a more dangerous drama than that of love in a couple. Therefore, it is not in vain that the examination of her phone is still an unsolved process, while the last conversations with her boyfriend are the only ones that the police have managed to read. Where was Daniel Shima 10 hours after the alarm about his disappearance? Maybe someone needed to give him a clear and strong warning to keep quiet? Who did he travel with the day before he "disappeared" in Borsh? Was his trip direct or did he have to supply himself with food and fuel in Shijak? All these questions need answers and the investigation must uncover the truth about a former official who is guarded by the Republican Guard and suddenly feels threatened by love and disappears without a trace. Anyone who believes that a personal drama with a girl has disappeared without a trace for 10 hours the man who had Albania's cyber secrets in his hands is simply a regular viewer of soap operas. Otherwise, in any country in the world this event would raise a huge alarm for the security not only of a former official, but also of Albania itself. Maybe movies would be made, but they would be movies about the mafia and mafiosi.
