41 kg and 350 grams of cocaine are seized at the Port of Durres, with a market value of around 2 million euros.
Police announced that the quantity of cocaine was hidden in a container originating from Brazil, which, according to the documentation, was transporting chicken.
"During the inspection of the container, 37 packages of suspected cocaine were found on its outer lids," the police stated.
It has been a long time since such a large amount of cocaine was seized at the Port of Durres. Four or five years ago, there were frequent cases where tons of cocaine, mainly coming from Ecuador, were seized.
