Iran's Revolutionary Guard has issued a new warning to the United States, threatening a "decisive response" in the event of new attacks on Iranian territory, following recent military developments in the region.
In a statement published on the Sepah News website, the Guard warned that any repetition of the attacks would be met with a harsh response, while also accusing Israel, calling it responsible for tensions in the Middle East and using strong language against it.
Meanwhile, Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, accused the US and Israel of destabilizing efforts within the country, which he said were aimed at compensating for "military failures." In a statement carried by state media, he called for national unity in the face of external pressures.
In a separate development, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is expected to visit Washington, where he will meet with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The talks are expected to focus on bilateral relations and the situation in the Middle East, as part of efforts for a peace agreement between the US, Israel and Iran.
On the other hand, Kuwait has condemned the missile and drone attacks on its territory, calling them a violation of sovereignty and a serious escalation of the security situation. The Foreign Ministry called for an immediate halt to the attacks and held the Iranian side responsible.
The attack on a US base in Kuwait was also confirmed by CENTCOM, which described it as a violation of the ceasefire terms.
Along the same lines, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia condemned the attack, expressing solidarity with Kuwait and considering it a violation of sovereignty. The UAE directly named Iran as responsible for the "terrorist attacks."
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) also condemned the attacks, calling them a violation of international law and the UN Charter, and emphasized its full support for Kuwait in maintaining its security and stability.
